Scene 3 - Henry's Audition Piece This is a real story about a friend of mine who changed his monotonous boring life and made it a fascinating experience. But one day it all changed. He saw in the news that a famous radio presenter had just died... and this made him realise there was the light at end of the tunnel. From that day on, he's had a new exciting hobby. Every time a famous person dies, he goes to the city morgue, he looks for the room where he or she is laid out and stays there, waiting amongst all the sad people crying. Then, whenever a famous person appears, he takes a photo and asks him or her an autograph. Now, he is very happy. He's got a really interesting life, and a collection with dozens of photos and autographs. (looking at the audition panel and answering their question) Pardon?. . . . David Beckham?. . . . Yes - I'm sure he can get it for you |
